# The Slow Lander Hour — A Radio Show

**The note:** A crewman on the F/V EILEEN — four seasons with the captain, the captain's father, first career in forestry and teaching, makes guitars in the off-season, skis, sails, fishes — heard the songs, got them mixed into the mix of a long day landing fish, and wanted to mix into the songs. His idea arrived as a voice note over the water, garbled by the radio, perfect anyway.

**The premise:** Five performers from the greater site's songs gather in the studio. They read the crewman's raw idea, walk it around the room in banter, and each renders it in their own tradition — varying degrees of liberty. The show ends by giving the song back to the crewman, whole.
